“ I have been going to Country's since 1980 when I was attending Auburn. I am retired here now, and the food is still every bit as good as I remember from my college days. The prices are also pretty good for the amount of food you get. I never leave hungry! The new building is very nice, but quite loud. I wish they would add some sound deadening material and hangings to cut down on that. With the music playing, and people talking, it's all you can do to hold a conversation at your table. Maybe they will fix that. They brought a bunch of stuff from the old building (signs, the rocking chair, etc.). It makes for a great facility, reminiscant of the original building. Be patient with them, they are still working out the kinks, but if you want great BBQ, I would overlook the issues. ”
“ The food is great and the new building spacious and comfortable. My family used to go to Country’s in Prattville and when it closed, we missed the food! I was happy to find that the food at the Auburn location was pretty close to what to what we had enjoyed at the Prattville location. ”
“ Our server was so amazing. Definitely see the girl with the pink hair. She was sweet and charming. ”
“ I recently attended the ribbon cutting for the new Country’s BBQ, and it’s absolutely beautiful! While I’ll miss the charm of the old building, the new location is stunning and perfectly decorated. They even brought over the iconic giant rocking chair from the original spot, which made it feel like home. The addition of a drive-through is a great touch for those days when you’re on the go but still craving their delicious BBQ. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-timer, this place will not disappoint! Can’t wait to make more memories here! ”
“ The BBQ was great. The brisket, the ribs, and the pulled pork were awesome. The coleslaw, and the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. The service was exceptional. ”
“ Awesome the best bbq in the state. I live in Wetumpka and we drive to auburn once or twice every week to eat it. ”
“ One of the only Original BBQ joints in town left standing in Auburn. They did an OverHaul and built a brand new building. The feel is perfect and the newness doesn’t take away from the old feel. The red chair is still there, if you’re wondering. The food portion is big and the taste is like the original spot. The only complaint is the time to receive our food. Not on the servers, it’s on the kitchen. Servers were amazing. I noticed that a drive thru was built and is going to be in service soon. If the time frame for the food inside is way too long and they better have this figured out before the drive thru opens or the time with get longer since you are serving 2 different ways. Overall, the BBq is good and it’s a great family atmosphere. ”
“ THANK GOD FOR COUNTRY'S BARBECUE ESPECIALLY LATE AT NIGHT NEAR CLOSING TIME!!!THE BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADY WAS SO NICE AND SWEET AND THE FOOD WAS SO DELICIOUS!!! ”
